I work as a researcher in forest tree breeding and I am responsible for the operational breeding program of Norway spruce in central Sweden. In addition, I am editor of the decision support tools Planter’s guide (Plantval) and Planter’s guide optimization (Plantval optimal). My research focuses on climate adaptation of genetically improved plants (both in the breeding program and practical regeneration) and encompasses topics like assisted migration, drought stress, frost damages and planning of new seed orchards (2g).
