Common Scots pine deployment recommendations for Sweden and Finland
Seedlings from Swedish and Finnish seed orchards can soon be used in both countries. A joint model to rank the seed orchards has been developed and will be implemented in a decision support tool.

Master’s thesis proposal: Harvester logging without end splits
Log end splitting is common in the cut-to-length process of harvesting forest. We are working to solve the problem and are now looking for master thesis students to help us.

Good practices for forest buffers to improve surface water quality in the Baltic Sea region
As a result of a joint project around the Baltic Sea, guidelines for forest buffers are presented in a new report. Skogforsk coordinated the work as part of an EU Interreg Baltic Sea Region project.
