Meetings and conferences

March 9, 2011 the Coordination Committee met in Uppsala. Minutes from the meeting can be accessed  here.

October 20-22, 2010, the OSCAR conference was held in Honne, Biri, Norway. Proceedings are available from here. See reports from one of the hosts, Mjosen: Article on excursion, and about Erik A. Dahl.

September 23-25, 2008 the biennal NSR/OSCAR research conference was held in Copenhagen, hosted by Forest & Landscape in Denmark. Proceedings are available here.

In December 2007, Skogforsk hosted a meeting in the forest energy project group, adjacent to a Nordic Forest Fuel Forum in Uppsala. In February 2007, KVL hosted a workshop in which forest energy projects was discussed aiming at common applications. Contact: Bruce Talbot.

In November 2007, OSCAR arranged a seminar on Profitable forestry in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The seminar gathered c. 40 people from six countries. The presentations could be accessed by clicking on  this link. 

In August 2007 Skogforsk hosted a meeting on Forestry Business engineering. Contact Anna-Furness-Lindén.

The last NSR Conference was successfully held in Tarttu, Estonia, September 17-20, 2006. The proceedings are documented in a special issue of the journal Forestry Studies (vol 45, 2006), published by the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
