Forest bioenergy

Research into forest bioenergy started when Skogforsk led the four-year R&D program, “Greater Efficiency in Forest Fuel Systems", funded by the Swedish Energy Agency and the forestry and energy sectors, and which ended in 2010.

Now the Forest Fuel Program is examining in greater depth improved production technology, more efficient transport, and better coordination with other raw materials produced in the forestry sector.
