Our research
Skogforsk's research is divided into two principal areas: Wood Supply and Forest Production, as seen below. These areas, each managed by researchers of the highest calibre, cover most of the demand-driven applied forestry research in Sweden.
The research areas are, in turn, divided into research programmes, all of which are fully integrated, crossing the boundaries of programmes and research areas alike.
Research programmes
Collaboration
Programme work also involves participation in external collaborative projects, both with other research bodies and with professionals engaged in operational forestry.
Skogforsk is also coordinator of the EFORWOOD project.
